About Protodyne
Protodyne Manufacturing is a custom precision machine shop equipped with the latest technology in Haas mills and lathes. The company is owned and operated by mechanical engineer Kyle Hill and located in Concord, North Carolina. We moved to a new 4,000 square-foot building in February 2021 within the same business park as our original location.
Our goal is to provide every customer a consistent, reliable, one-stop CNC prototype and production machine shop for, in many instances, highly customized machining projects that include manufacturing using the latest, state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes, and producing finished product(s) to meet the most precise parameters and tolerances.

Protodyne is a full-service machine shop offering complete custom, start-to-finish 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machining services including CNC milling and turning for prototypes, one-off special projects and mass production projects. WELDING
Protodyne can meet your welding service needs. We offer the skill and expertise needed to weld steel, iron and aluminum that will produce the highest quality materials, parts and components. Our welding services feature MIG and TIG welding that will meet and surpass your expectations.
CUSTOM FABRICATION
Protodyne offers custom fabrication for your projects. Our fabrication services range from individual prototypes to multiple complex assemblies. Our work spans a variety of different industries and our fabrication services work hand-in-hand with our CNC machining and welding skills to provide you with a full-service, one-stop custom machine shop.
